We were assigned in groups of three to pick an issue from the world that was given, and create a product based off our research from sources. My group picked education as our topic of interest and researched some issues in education and created a solution. We researched local schools in the Champaign area that have programs to prepare students for college. We then created user personas of how teachers and students would use College Box as a way to pass on information to get ready for higher education.

Our solution was to create a “subscription” type box for high school students to get the resources to prepare themselves for higher education. College Box is a starter kit where it can ultimately help high school students get a head start on learning and how to apply for colleges and scholarships during or before their senior year.
